Honors & Scholars Student Enrichment Grants

Deadlines :
November 25, 2016 - Autumn
February 15, 2017 - Spring

The University Honors & Scholars Center at The Ohio State University recognizes that the academic experience is not limited to the classroom and that students can engage in a variety of activities that broaden their learning and enhance their experiences at OSU and beyond. The University Honors & Scholars Center serves high-performing, motivated undergraduate students. While embracing diversity in both ideas and people, the center facilitates impactful, rigorous, and unique opportunities that further student success and involvement in our G.O.A.L.S.: global awareness, original inquiry, academic enrichment, leadership development, and service engagement.

We are proud to offer Honors & Scholars Student Enrichment Grants that can provide up to $3000 to fund such learning experiences for students who are current undergraduate Honors & Scholars students at OSU. You must be a current member of the University Honors & Scholars Program or an OSU Scholars program to apply. Funds are available to undergraduate Honors & Scholars students of all majors and can be utilized for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to research, creative work, and study abroad. Projects that contribute to enhanced student involvement in one or more areas of the G.O.A.L.S. will be given priority. Please note that students who receive other funding for their projects will not be eligible for an enrichment grant. Examples may include URO Summer Research Scholarships, Pelotonia Grants, Undergraduate Research Scholarships from your college, and other types of enrichment funding. H&S Enrichment Grant funds cannot be used for student projects that include travel to risk-designated countries or areas with active travel warnings. See https://oia.osu.edu/application-and-policies/travel-to-risk-designated-countries.html for more information.
